The dates have been decided, the principal singers are confirmed, and the chorus is starting to form. I&#8217;ve put out some feelers to performers and I should know more about that as the week progresses.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the phone today John asked, &#8220;Are you excited? It&#8217;s going to happen!&#8221; I said, &#8220;yes.&#8221; But honestly, I&#8217;m tentatively excited. A slow burn tempered over so many false starts with this piece, but all for the good. John will make it happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have reduced the ensemble from  from a small orchestra to six players, and in the process I think the piece has become stronger. That process is fun too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next week we will launch the fundraising campaign.
