Getting started
Reading Dick is an opera that I wrote during the pandemic with Edward Einhorn. It’s a tale within a tale that explores the ideas of obsession, love, judgement, growing up, and art, all through the lens of a high school english class reading Moby Dick.
The cast includes three principal roles and a small chorus of students, along with a large ensemble of musicians. This is the third operatic work I have written and I’m eager to see it and hear it.
